I am a single dad and have a very challenging and limited relationship with my 12 year old daughter and am looking for possibly a class or activity to do on Sundays. I have tried many different things but don't seem to get very far. I ask if she wants to play games, go places, etc...She pretty much always declines. She doesn't like coming over for visitation and seems so unhappy. This is something I have struggled with for years. I feel if I could find some sort of class or activity where there are other kid's of similar ages that we could attend it's worth a shot, the challenge is that the only day with my current visitation schedule that we could do it is Sunday or possibly Sat eve. Any idea's?

Try to examine all the likes and dislikes of your daughter, on that way you will going to get the idea what all things for her to get interest. As much as possible spend more quality time for her. I also have the same situation with you. But because i spend more time with my kids they are now close with mine now and i felt that they really looking forward every week for our new activity either indoor or outdoor. So i suggest try to get to know her more because eventhough you will give all things to her if she's not interested with it then it doesn;t make any sense at all right. Quality time and get to know her likes and dislikes. Good luck.
