It doesn't matter if you post pictures. Go ahead, but remember everyone can see what you post. Friendslock or no, people will find those pictures if they want them. Use your name, first only, of course, if you'd like, too. A good way to see if you're using too much information is to google yourself, your info, your usernames. See if you can find your phone number and where you live. If you can, fix it so you can't.

Thanks for posting. Of course the answer is "it depends," right? Certainly it's really important not to have your last name or any other personally identifiable info on your page, including places where you can be located if someone knows what you look like. So if it's just your first name and people you don't know can't tell where you live or spend time, you're probably fine. And of course you know it would not be smart to post sexually provacative photos of yourself (stuff you upload can always be grabbed by someone and copy and pasted into other pages, emails, IMs, or shared on the file-sharing networks), so things that don't present you in a good light can come back to haunt you. It's also a good idea to ask friends and family in your photos if they're ok with your posting them (especially if the page is public). You get the picture, right? (Sorry - no pun intended.)
