National Parent Poll: Parents Conflicted About the Internet

Common Sense Media's new venture promoting Internet Safety, CommonSense.com, released a new nationwide poll on how parents feel about the Internet and the role it plays in their kids lives. The Internet is here to stay, and hiding or forbidding our kids from participating in sites such as MySpace and YouTube is not the answer. Teaching them how to be Internet Safe and Smart is. Hi, Common Sense. Great to have you with us! Everybody, the new CommonSense.com site is definitely worth checking out. Could we make a small request, though? We prefer that everyone post as people rather than organizations. Larry and I only post as "BlogSafety" or "NetFamilyNews" when we're doing admin stuff (or posting news items). Thanks so much!
