Need Help / Advice / Options Quick.

Hello All,

Just yesterday my cousin called me crying. Her ex boyfriend seemingly has been posing as her on Myspace and sending her personal information to other guys. And even know the pictures he posted up were not horrible. They were very personal.

We have already tried contacting myspace with this on their email link. She does not know much about computers or the web so i'm helping her out. Is there any number or email address that we can get this done earlier? Are there any legal avenues we can go through?

Right now the guy is denying its him that did it but she doesn't know anyone else that would have those pictures or would do something like that to her.

Please help

Be sure to include the profile's URL, or they won't be able to find it among the millions on the site. Best,

Anne thanks for the information. We try submitting a complaint through the form online and hadn't gotten a reply yet. I'll try emailing them now. I can't believe this is happening to her.

Thanks so much

Okami, MySpace says they delete impersonator profiles "on sight." If that's what you're talking about - a profile about your cousin that was created by someone else - just send the URL and a brief explanation to customercare@myspace.com, and they'll delete the whole thing right away. Let us know how it goes. All best,
Anne
