STAY AWAY FROM I AM BIG BROTHER SOFTWARE

JUST WANT TO WARN PARENTS ABOUT SOFTWARE CALLED I AM BIG BROTHER. IT OFFERS SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR REMOTE ACCESS TO WATCH WHAT YOUR KIDS ARE DOING ON LINE. BUT DOESN'T PROVIDE THE SERVICE ONCE THEY RECEIVE PAYMENT. ALSO WILL NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS FOR SUPPORT. THANKS

You can try other software instead, I'm sure there are many out there. I used SilentMonitoring. It worked just fine.

Hi BIGMAMA and thanks for your post. I've heard of this software and wanted to test it, but forunatelly found another good keylogger for monitoring my PC. Anyway, thanks for your warning.

I created an account here just so I could comment on this...I am big brother works excellently on my two computers. The only problem I had was when I tried to install on the second computer and my Norton flagged it for removal. I went to the Norton Antivirus 'blocked sites' exception tab and clicked on 'spyware.iambigbrother.com' and confirmed it a legitimate program. I didn't even need to reinstall the program after doing so.

This program is a bargain at $30

I purchased this product. There was a conflict with some business software on my computer. I did not experience a problem with customer service, on the contrary I received an email back within a day and after several question and answer email sessions, I was given a refund. Did not experience at all what the above have mentioned.

Is it weird that this makes me feel good.

I'm glad you were dumb enough to send money to the guy. Rely on your teaching and not on your enforcement to protect your kids and you'll get a better result...assuming you've taught them in the first place. You're a horrible parent and you deserved to lose the money.

Hi,

I have over a period of years developed a simple child monitoring software.

http://www.mykids.uk.com,

which I can assure you works great! Yet the world is filled with assholes that want to take your money for nothing... The sooner those type of people go to hell the better. So take the original's poster words seriously.

Son of liberty, I agree with you that parenting has gone down hill somewhat, however each parent to his own. Some decent full time working parents who care for their kids should make use of software to assist them in their task of bringing up a child. You might be mature enough to handle the net but most kids olds are not; especially the younger ones, so keeping tabs on your kids is essential in ensuring that nothing bad is happening to them online.

One more reason to not use filtering/monitoring software.

When did parents get so irresponsible as to have people do their parenting for them? Are they so spineless as to not be able to confront their kids and have a talk? Why is it that crooked politicians can manipulate fear to destroy our rights (patriot act) and ruin what separates this great country from the countless others that simply block people from things to teach them? How have we let this happen?
