hello..my name is chris..someone has made a fake myspace profile about me and it says horrible things in it about me. i want it deleted. i have contacted myspace and done taken my picture and sent them the URL of the fake profile but gotten no response. if anyone can help me with this please let me know! thanks!

Welcome back boydy123, I'm sorry this happened again, but not surprised. Once someone copies a photo online they can repost it again and again. The best thing to do is report the photo to Bebo. (Your friend should make the report.) Bebo should contact you or remove the photo within about a week after receiving the report. (If you don't hear back by then, let us know.)

hi maureen back in october i posted a thread about someone taking pictures off one of my friends bebo and puting it up on theirs i have no idea who they are and it scares me a bit that this has happened again you gave me an email address for beboinquiry the last time i emailed them last night about 12.00am telling them i was wondering if u knew how long it would be till the pictures would be taken off

I just joined this forum - didn't know it existed actually. I'm taking an on-line course, and it was recommended that I join this website.
Has your problem been resolved? I hope so! What a terrible feeling it must be for you.
I have to admit that especially as a teacher I am reluctant to put a lot out there. I don't want to give anyone a chance to come into my life. My privacy is important to me. And we all know how frequently teachers wind up in the media - for the wrong reasons.

Hi Kylief, I'm sorry to hear this. You can click the "Report abuse" link on the profile or send an email to imposterreport@myspace.com. Include a salute with your report (a picture of you holding a handwritten sign with your real Friend ID).
If the profile hasn't been deleted within about a week, contact us again and we'll email our contact at MySpace. (We need you to go through the proper channels first.)
