Recently, I have noticed that Pornography is spreading out in Facebook that made me worry about the younger ages who knows how to open and use Facebook. I am just a concern to my 3 kids and to all the kids who become victim in the rampant unsolved issue in Facebook. Hope it'll be resolved soon..

for now facebook has cleared problems regarding pornography. But i think it is your duty to guide them in the usage of social networks. theres no guarantee it wont happen again in the future.

From what I can see Facebook is the safest social network for kids these days... If you find any unappropriate content just report them and fb team will take care of it.

Facebook says protecting users from and malicious content is a 'top priority' after some graphic images hit some accounts. Do they?

I agree with steppenwolf, facebook is relatively safe. Your kids have more chances to see nudity on TV or in magazines.

FB is a safer social platform than most other places. I think Maureens answer pretty much says it all - but "kids"?? BTW, Maureen : exciting number of messages you hav listed...

Welcome moore_beatriz, Facebook has a strict no nudity or pornography policy so please report any images to Facebook. (This FAQ explains how: https://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=217396028308067#How-do-I-report-sex,-nudity-or-pornography?.) If the pictures aren't removed within two days, let us know at admin@connectsafely.org and we'll forward the message to our contact at Facebook, who will remove the images immediately. Best, Maureen -- Maureen Kochan ConnectSafely community manager
