Hi everybody,
I'm elena, an Italian blogger. A few days ago I heard for the first time about the fact that if I write on my blog something that criticizes workplace, I'm going to be in trouble. Also if I don't write the specific name of the place I work at, I'm going to be in trouble as well.
As far as i heard, this is already happened to many people. So, is it really true? If I have an impression that is negative about my workplace, I cannot write it in my personal blog?
If yes, what is the law related to it?

Hm if you mention the name of the company in your blog posts its not something unusual to have problems. I know it isnt right.but you cant do anything. You got boss and if you criticize your company better hide your name.

Hi Elena, The rules and laws vary by company and country, but being fired for writing something "inappropriate" on a blog is not unusual. (A quick Google search turned up this recent story.) By the way, employers are also using the Web to screen potential employees during the hiring process. Have you checked out whether your company has a policy regarding blogging?
