Hii im a 14 year old student.. and due to an error .. i have accidently mistaken the age i put on my bebo acount( reppin-mc.bebo.com ) My age which i have accidently put is 20.
I need to have my DOB changed because it leaves me vulnerable to be contacted by people way out side my age group.
Bebo said the alternative is that i make a new acount but thhat would mean that, i loose all my friends , my views etc
please help me in an effort to change my DOB.. thnkyou
help would be apperiatiated!

Good for you in recognizing that having an age showing that you are an adult while only being 14 can pose a problem. Many of these social networking sites won't respond and/or assist you with such a request. They simply don't have the resources. What I would recommend is if you don't want to deactivate your account (which really is what you should do) then the next best option would be for you to post somewhere prominent on your page that you are in fact only 14 and not 20 as your profile indicates. Its done the same to me except i cant write to some of my friends because of 'age restrictions' and im down as 17 when im actually just 14! lol anyway to stop people thinking your 20 ..(unfortunately they have disabled the year of birth bit on profile edit) so just press hide age next to month and day bit on profile edit and on your bebo page just wrie age: 14 =] easyy peasyy =D x

I had a look on bebo and you can't change the year that you were born only the month and day!!

i think u should normally sing in bebo and go to ur profile first
- then click on "edit profile"( its usually under ur display photo)
-CHANGE UR DOB THERE

- click on "my profile" in blue
- when ur page comes up
-click on "edit profile"...its usually under ur dispay photo
- and just change ur age..or DOB
