On May 26, 2009 someone created an imposter profile of me. They have my picture and where I live on this page and I would really like to have it deleted. I have contacted Myspace a few times. But I still have not received any response, plus the webpage is still up. If you could be of any assistance, I could provide whomever with a Salute. AngiesMOM06, I referred your message to our contact at MySpace, and they removed the picture. Unfortunately (and I'm sure you're already aware of this) the person could still have copies of the picture(s) and use them someplace else. Hopefully that won't happen - but if it does, you'll need to make a fresh report with whichever service contains the stolen images.

I sent the first message on the 23 of this month. I have sent four other messages since then. I am trying to be patient I know how busy they must be. But you have to understand where i am coming from too.
I did get a tip from a myspace rep named "Anne". There is a feature to disable right clicking so your pics so they can not be emailed or copied. It is under the "edit profile" on the drop menu.

AngiesMom, I'm sorry to hear this. When did you report the stolen pictures to MySpace? We like to give MySpace -w/ its 100s of millions of profiles- at least a week to investigate a claim before forwarding a message to our contact.

I have an imposter profile too. I know the person. They posted pics of my baby that they took off my profile.  So I am really really trying to get this page off of myspace. I have been waiting to hear from Myspace. I have made a salute and already sent the salute to Myspace. If you have any tips to speed this up or something else that I could do I would love to hear it. D_Otto, MySpace has removed the profile. You should know that a new one may pop up in its place - something that happens way too often, and is hard to prevent.

Welcome d_otto, When did you send the report, and did you include a salute? (MySpace says including a salute expedites the process.) If not, please submit another report and include a salute. Click here for instructions.
If you've submitted a report (w/ salute), and it's been more than a week, let us know and we'll forward your message to our contact at MySpace. (We need you to go through the proper channels first.)
