I work in a retail stores and I came across what seemed to be a profile that one of my co-workers/friends had. It didn't have much, it looked like someone started the profile and didn't finish. It had her name, age and where she lived. I saw her a few days later and told her about the profile and she said that she did not make it. She is pretty upset that someone set up a fake account to try to pretend to be her. She asked me to help in removing it. I tried contacting Customer Service about 5 times and have not recieved a reponse and the profile is still up. I contacted the owner of Myspace, Tom, and he isn't doing anything about the profile that isn't hers. This is a safety issue and we would like this matter resolved as soon as possible. rescue141x, MySpace just informed us that they removed some of the profiles you reported for terms-of-use violations. They added that they get a very high volume of reports via the "Report Inappropriate Content" link on the site (that's exactly the right way to report, BTW), and they get a lot of false reports (ones with creative definitions of "inappropriate"), so a little patience can help. I reported about 100 profiles the other day. They said disgusting stuff, sexual comments and stuff but they are still up for everyone to see. They should be removed. Myspace should delete all these and the ones where the person hasn't logged in, in like a year.

You're welcome. BTW, our MySpace contact reminds everyone to use this email for impersonating or otherwise abusive profiles: customercare@myspace.com. MySpace says, "using the 'Report Inappropriate Content' link, emailing 'Contact,' or messaging Tom’s profile is not an efficient conduit for issues of this nature." Best,
